Day 19

It’s been a pretty good ride so far, even with a couple of surprises along the way – traveling and getting hit with gastroenteritis. But I beat those challenges. I followed my own advice. I just did what was possible for me and kept going. I truly believe in putting my health first and working on it makes me really happy. And once that’s in order, everything else just seems to sort itself out.

I’m definitely feeling stronger now. The first week was a tough one, but now I’ve found my groove… and I know I can do this. Next week, I’m planning to cut down from four to three weight sessions. That way, I can do weights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and go for some low-intensity steady-state (LISS) workouts on the other days. I like this plan… I keep tweaking things and I really enjoy that process.

The biggest plus point, I think, has been the mental boost. I know I can rely on myself, and that makes me love myself more. I’m giving it my best shot. I’m in this for the long haul. I’ll do what needs to be done and see how things turn out, and I’m ready for that. And the quiet? I absolutely love it.

To be honest, I have not seen any changes on the scale but thats ok. I feel that I am getting stronger. I will do the body scan in a week or so and see if my body composition changed or not.
